100 million reasons to enter
Since 2004, the Workers’ Resource Centre has helped Alberta workers recover the wages, benefits, and entitlements they’re owed — millions every year — at no cost to the workers we serve. This year, it all adds up to something remarkable: more than $100 million back in workers’ pockets!
We are incredibly proud of this achievement, so we’re marking the milestone with a 50/50 raffle: a real chance at a life-changing prize, in support of work that reduces poverty and empowers workers against the odds.

Every ticket purchased makes the prize bigger. The winner will take home half of total ticket sales.
Mark your calendar
Ticket sales close Monday, November 9 at 11:59 p.m. The draw takes place Tuesday, November 10 at our AGM at the Confluence in Calgary. We’ll contact the winner directly and celebrate publicly.
Early Bird bonus: Purchase your tickets before November 1 and you’ll automatically be entered in our additional Early Bird draw for a chance to win a specialty wine basket courtesy of Willow Park Wines and Spirits (approx. value $167).

If you'd like to give a little extra, or if you would prefer to donate instead of purchasing raffle tickets, we are excited to offer a selection of limited edition gifts as a thank you for supporting our work. These donations are separate from the 50/50 raffle and do not affect your odds of winning.
The t-shirts, totes and posters below feature the artwork of Macha Abdallah and are accompanied by the slogan, "Solidarity is my love language." After you give, you will be directed to a short form to select the design and size that you would like.

Meet the Artist
The artwork featured on these items was created by Macha Abdallah, an award-winning multi-disciplinary artist based in Edmonton and Kigali, Rwanda. She is known for her vibrant portraits and murals across the city, including Edmonton's Dignity Mural. Macha draws on her background in psychology, her faith, and her cultural heritage to create work that fosters joy and connection.
We are proud to partner with Macha Abdallah on this project. Supporting local artists is very important to us because their work — like ours — helps build healthy societies and strong communities, rooted in dignity, creativity and showing up for one another.
Where the money goes
After the winner takes their half, every remaining dollar funds free, one-on-one support for Alberta workers: recovering unpaid wages, navigating Employment Insurance claims and disability benefits, responding to discrimination, and understanding rights at work.

Anyone 18 or older located in Alberta at the time of purchase.
The winner receives 50% of total ticket sales up to a maximum of $20,000 ($10,000 maximum prize). The jackpot grows with every ticket sold.
